Maverick Scott Braz

Maverick Scott was born on July 16, 2010 in St. Francis. The proud parents are Hailey and Cody. Maverick arrived at 11:43 am weighing in at 6 pounds and 3 ounces and was a total of 18.5 inches. All is well and he went home with mom and dad, plus all of the other family members and friends that have been in to see him. This now makes us at 5 grandchildren....YIKES.

Looking West

This is what it looks like when on our back patio. We can see the neat sunsets and anyone who tries to sneak up on us from the west (Kelly).

The Porch

Cotton Wood Lane

I get a lot of ribbing (fun in nature - I think) about my trees. I think they look good and if I can keep the wood weevils out of them, they will continue to grow.

Viking on Trailer

When the nose gear collapsed during landing, this caused a prop strike. Long story short, the insurance company totaled the plane (because it would have to be taken to Texas to be fixed and due to the 300 HP engine and all, they felt it better to just total the plane). They sold it as salvage and these are the people from Wentworth Aviation that came and got the plane. They are one of the world's largest plane salvage businesses. They will either sell the plane to a "rebuilder" or part it out. It is the best and neatest plane that I have flown, handled like a lamb but was fast as the wind. Shon flew it back from Fort Lauderdale, as that is were we traded for it at.
